I started my military service in 1987, when I graduated from Basic Training at Fort Knox, Kentucky. I then enrolled in the Weber State University ROTC program and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in 1991. I served in the Army Reserves until 1995, when I was activated into the Active Guard Reserve Program, with my first duty at the Portland Recruiting Battalion in Oregon. I then attended the Combined Logistics Officer Advanced Course (CLOAC) at Ft Lee, Virginia. I received orders to move to Irvine, California, where I served as the Battalion Supply Logistics Officer for the 419th Quartermaster Battalion. I ended my career in the 104th Division (IT) as the Division Retention and Transition Chief, based in Vancouver, Washington.
This candle has a complex, sophisticated fragrance with an earthy coriander top note that unfolds into the heart of Amyris, then blends with a base of dark musk, amber, and woody undertones.
I dedicate this candle to all those I have served with, especially to Laurie W., CSM Renata Bergene, SFC Joanne Blatchley, and to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for this great country.
